About Temprl Labs

We are a research company building the judgment layer for software that acts. Our first model is Simo.

What we are building

Software that acts is full of judgment calls: is the task finished, which team handles this, is this action safe, which button, what is the order ID. Today most teams answer them by prompting a chat model and parsing the essay it sends back.

Simo is our answer. It is a judgment model, not a chat model. Software shows it a situation (text, a screenshot, video) and asks typed questions. In milliseconds it returns a calibrated probability for every possible answer and, where acting needs more, the value itself. It never writes prose.

Read how Simo works, the idea behind it in System 1.5, or why we built it.

Two models, one API

ModelAPI idFor
Simo-1simo-1The default. Real-time judgments for agents, pipelines and per-event processing.
Simo-1 Prosimo-1-proMaximum judgment quality for high-stakes gating and hard calls.

How we work

  • Numbers over prose. Every claim should be a probability, a millisecond or a typed value.
  • Show the mechanism. We show how an answer is made, not only that it was made.
  • Claim only what is published. Preview is called preview, and the roadmap is called the roadmap. See the published latency and accuracy numbers.

What comes next

  • The full agent step on Simo-1 Pro: decision, argument values, extraction and self-checks together.
  • Fill and Extract graduating from preview, with a published evaluation.
  • Arguments and extraction directly from screenshots and video.
